Erectile dysfunction medicines seized in Glengormley

Large amounts of unlicensed medications have been seized by Department of Health officials throughout a search of a home in Glengormley.
A man was interviewed by department officers about illegally importing and consequently providing unlicensed impotence medications through the internet.
The 47-year-old was likewise questioned about other medicine offenses.
He will now be the topic of a report to the Public Prosecution Service.
The search was performed by the department's Medicines Regulatory Group.
Its senior enforcement office, Peter Moore, said: "It is crucial that we get the message throughout that unlicensed medicines can be harmful.
"These types of products being offered, usually online, have gone through no quality control and there can be no about their safety.
"You just do not understand what you are taking or the conditions these items were made in. More importantly, you do not know the impact drugs like this might have on your health."
